Our Cognos upgrade methodology takes the project through four primary phases: assess, plan, install and upgrade, and support.
Stage 1: Assess
When upgrading from prior Cognos platforms to Cognos 10, a Cognos Environment Assessment is necessary to determine the business and infrastructure impact of moving between platforms
Stagee 2: Plan
The information obtained during the assess phase provides the road map for the project and helps to determine the exact scope and time required to upgrade between environments.
Stage 3: Install and Upgrade
The upgrade phase is dependent on Cognos 10 being installed and configured with LifeCycle Manager available for the content upgrade.
Stage 4: Support
